Peter Carlos Okantey is a consultant with a strong background in strategic leadership and management, coaching, mentoring, and non-profit development. Peter’s extensive training and education, first-hand experience and knowledge have equipped him to speak empower both young leaders and managers, as well as, those with vast experience.

With his background, Peter consults for both small and large businesses and organizations in the area of leadership and management, coaching and mentoring. Peter holds trainings, seminars, and workshops. He serves as an adjunct professor at the School of Business Administration at Portland State University.

A Desire to Inspire

Peter speaks with enthusiasm and passion to individuals and groups in for-profit and non-profit organizational settings, and those in high schools or at the university level. He has spoken at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon; for NAPE Foundation; a non-profit organization Peter founded and manages, at various churches in the Portland, Oregon area and in Ghana, West Africa. Peter has also spoken at various rotary and lions clubs within Portland and Vancouver.

Peter has worked as a teacher, manager in both for-profit and non-profit settings, a trainer, and facilitator.

A Global Focus with Service

Peter was born in Ghana, West Africa. Peter is the founder and president of the Naa Amerely Palm Education (NAPE) Foundation; a non-profit organization seeking to increase higher educational opportunities for individuals in Ghana, West Africa. NAPE Foundation provides scholarship opportunities and education investments funds to current Ghanaian high school and university students who are unable to find the financial resources to pay their school fees and would most likely be forced to discontinue their education. NAPE Foundation is working in collaboration with Portland State University to assist Ghanaians in accessing on-line courses leading to bachelor degrees. NAPE Foundation will provide a facility in Ghana, housed with computers and technical support. This will provide Ghanaian students with an additional avenue to pursue a higher education. In addition, NAPE Foundation seeks to develop a four-year liberal arts university.

A Passion for Excellent  Training and Development

Peter is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Strategic Leadership at Regent University’s School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Virginia, USA.

Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific College. Peter also holds a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Ghana and a Teacher’s Certificate from the Presbyterian Teacher Training College in Ghana and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Regent University’s School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Virginia, USA.

Peter is able to motivate and inspire individuals and organizations and assist in developing life-long objectives, goals and dreams.
